Have a 30 gallon nuvo and it's time for a filter change any recommendations of what I could change to and still use the factory media basket?

Okay I changed my water yesterday but was unable to get all poop and what not out of the sand would it hurt if I changed another five gallons today. By the my salinity was low would this help that to?

One more question i have the api kits and salinity tester coming from amazon ( Just the cheap plastic one) what is the ideal perfect salinity?

i have fish coral and inverts do i need both of these test kits? the lfs said i dont need them for me to just bring my water in. but im the type to like to know everything is thats happening with out a trip to the lfs. doing my first water change tomarrow after work :) any advice would be...

My nuvo pump is not quite enough to pump through a chiller and back to the tank and still have good flow for coral has anyone put a larger pump in the nuvo 30g? I would love to have just one pump for tank and chiller. Any advice

Got a 30 gal nuvo cube tank with live sand and rock in it already, along with some hermits and a cleaner shrimp. Gonna put some cardinals in there today also and maybe a pair of clown fish. Does anyone know where to get a chiller for a reasonable price?

Gave a 30g cube and jbj led. First question do I need to run any lighting at night? If not the fan has a constant power supply, so should the fan be running 24/7 ?
