    Light Fixture

    Hello. I have a marineland 55 gallon tank. On the dual hoods, there is a area where the light sits on. It is either acrylic or plexiglass? Wondering what to use since BOTH have cracked. Algae came about and I scrubbed and it cracked. PLEASE HELP.

    This is true. I just measured from where the black rim is where the hood goes on and it would have to be 3.5 inches empty from top ugh!!!

    but the heater has to have enough water in it to not "pop". This has never been an issue for me neither. I have been a hobbyist forever. I just noticed it today, not sure it happened when I was cleaning, was it like this and I just noticed or what?? It is very thin, but that pressure water...

    I have a 55 gallon tank. Seven years old. I do a clean every two weeks. Today, I seen a crack on the side of the tank, starting at the top where the black part is and its thin and about 2.5 to 3 inches long. It is NOT leaking. I am so worried about this and do not know what to do. PLEASE HELP ME.

    Molly very aggressive

    I never heard of a molly being aggressive. But this has been happening. I had to remove him. Why are the mollies aggressive?

    Wouldn't I see bones or a body if he were dead?? He is very small, but I seen him under an ornamnet the first few days I got him, and I moved them the other day to see if he was there. No. This bothers me. Sergio is his name. Come back Sergio : (

    Algae Eater is missing

    I got a very small pleco over a week ago. Actually, New Year's eve. No other really big fish in there at all. He was coming out. I have not seen him. I moved around some of the caves and ornaments and nope, he is not there. Where did Sergio go?? Plus, no body, bones, etc... HELP!!!
