- Here is a "task list" for my 75 gl FO or FOWLR
Tank: 75-100 gallon w/ stand
Aquarium supplies:
Power Head: Seio Super Pump or Hydro Korolia
Lighting: t5
Heater: Titanium preferably, 74-82 degrees most often
Substrate: PFS, aragonite sand
Live Rock: 3$ lb shipped from intmarinefish.com normally 1lb per gallon in tank or liverocknreef.com this site also has heaters, lights, etc.
Salt: Tropic Marine Salt, Oceanic, Instant Ocean
Water: RO/DI Unit
Filter: Fluval C series probably C4, Marineland filter, Hagen
Sump Pump:
Protein Skimmer: Coralife Super Skimmer-$140 Reef Octopus, Aqua C EV 240 or SWC Cone Protein Skimmer, plus one. Cleans out wastes and other crap
Hydrometer: Check the SG, needs to be around 1.020-1.025
Stand: Remember to not get one too tall, have to be able to reach in stand, either paint the back or buy something to hide cords.
Fish:
Humu trigger, flame hawkfish, hopefully clowns, CUC
