Once I started I couldn't stop. Everyone has been a newbie - but I reckon its's only the new newbies who can remember what it's like.
Thank you for all your help.
I can't find any ammonia today - it's a public holiday so the shopping is very limited.
One of my filter media is DeNitrate which ...
"Removes and controls nitrates, nitrites and ammonia. Also removes organic build-up and provides high porosity support for your...
I reckon you knew I would be back with more questions :!:
I just hope you're not going aaarrrrgh ... she's back.
The pic isn't going to happen tonight - I've definitely decided to move a plant.
Re the driftwood.
I mentioned that it floated so I've had to anchor it with a rock. It has also...

I'm only a newbie to the fish world. I started with a fighter fish ... as we all do :!:
We were going away for the weekend so I asked my 4 year old surrogate grand daughter if she would look after NoNamus for us. She was so taken with him that I asked her Mum if I could...

Can't wait for the plants & water :lach:
Thank you...

I'm chuffed you both approve.

I'm missing 50% gravel, plants, water & obviously fish.
The caves & fishy swim through's are bigger than they look. The main planting area will be to the right of...
Hi ya Cam
I think I'll go for the 2nd list & add either danios or rummy nose tetra (10).
Both lfs's think 2 gourami would be best & not give too many problems.
Re the lighting - my lfs has agreed to take my single light back.
Re the filter
Yes, I'm definitely going to get an extra one.
My...
Wham Oh :multi:
I'm getting really excited now. :invasion:
I've placed my rocks, driftwood, DIY cave, DIY other thing. It's all there waiting for next weekend when I will place my airstones, plants, & get the water in.
:eek2: There's a major setback - my husband was helping me with my...
