Has anyone heard much about aquamax reactors? I've searched for threads on the brand or other recommended brands without much luck. Aquamax was recommended at my LFS, but I want to get other opinions.

Just added new lighting and the red algae grew over recently added reef rock within days. Does coralline algae grow that fast? I want to add some pictures to my album but it doesn't seem to be enabled.

How do tell the difference from red slime algae from coralline algae?

1.026 isn't too high. Everything I've read says 1.020 - 1.025. Is there an advantage for maintaining levels at 1.026?

I was curious, because I have seen the 5 gallon containers of seawater on the shelf at petsmart and petco. I was wondering if anyone uses that, and how long those might be sitting on the shelf.

I have been storing pre-made water in a 50 Gal rubbermade trash can that I bought strictly to store water run through my RO/DI filter. I added instant ocean mix and have the specivic gravity at 1.025. The water has been stored that way for close to thirty days. Do I need to aerate the water...

How long can you store replacement H2O in a sealed container. I have H2O stored for about 30-days, and I would like to use it for a PWC, would it still be ok to use if I aerated it?:popcorn:
