i'm trying to search for plastic hinges..i may have the name wrong..but i know whatever this is its out there...you can wedge two pieces of glass/acrylic on either side and can bend it from the hinge... i have an acrylic top thats cut in have for my tank but looking to find a plastic wedge...

my tank isnt considered very high lighted tank..rather very low in fact... and btw..i do love the led light..i still wish there was more blue power to show off the fish more....but it was money very well spent

the light is an led marineland double led i'll have to try that thank you

i dont think its hi powered...on either of the tanks..i know the biube isnt..the leds on the 55 is better but not as high...since i put in a clear top it lets in wayyy more light..i think i'm going to put them towards the bottom..the ferns down there look better...my other tank..doesnt look so...

I have a bunch of low light plants...i have java ferns in my 55 tank most sit at the very top and are covered in algea etc...i assume its to much direct light for them? i also have a few other different low lights in my 9 gallon tank..i have a java fern in there, pennywort, stricta, blassii...

So I've made a new top for my tank to let in more light..my Java still doesn't look all that great and algae is growing big time..the bubbles on the leaves is a good thing correct?

i have 40 gallon tub pond preformed liner..that only holds 2 tiny small koi...we are upgrading to 125 gallons..will i need a filter with this? or just a pump to keep things circulating around?

I've read where others have bowed and one where the Guy used a Tad but thicker acrylic...hopefully I won't have to many problems with it..my light is an led and doesn't sit directly on too..although I've thought of more light

I plan to do this myself LOL..can't count on the men in my family...do you file the edges down any?
