They are definitely females. the one that gets harassed is fine with eating, she may be getting hurt I'm not sure.. there defiantly is no sign of injury, but I'm keeping a close eye on them. They have heaps of space, plus I have made rock caves for them to hide.. Thank you for replying
About a month ago I bought 2 female angelfish and they were fine with each other, however in the past 2 weeks I have noticed one female was chasing the other female, is this normal behaviour? Or should I separate them and then reintroduce them in a few days/weeks?
Tank size is 110 litres. PH is...
So. one of my goldfish managed to get stuck in the filter tube (like the scene from finding nemo) and when I pulled him out he was in shock.. but soon quickly recovered.. but I noticed one of his eyes has popped out a bit.. he eats and swims fine.. should I be worried about his eye??
I have a tank that contains a black moor.. I just checked the ph level and it's quite high.. I'm going to use api ph down.. is it ok to use it when fish are in the tank?
So lately I have noticed my comet getting into this weird habit of “attacking” the suction cup that holds the heater. Is this normal behaviour? Is he bored?
In a couple of months I'll be moving out and I will then buy a bigger tank for him. I did take a picture and put it up, but I'm new here and I don't think it worked it's like this thick yellow stuff at the end of the tube that's inside the water. I found that it is easy to clean
So right before I fed my comet in his 21 litre tank I noticed this weird yellow gunk on the Air pump tube. I was just wondering what it is? How quickly will it take to come back after I've cleaned it? And is it harmful to fish?
After you told me that comets get really big, I decided to get a new tank for my black moor the next morning, they both live in 21 litre tanks now. In a couple of months I'm going to get a bigger tank for my comet. At the moment I'm maintaining both tanks with the same levels of Nitrite and...
About 11:30 this morning I gave my black moor and comet medication for parasites and half an hour later I noticed my black moor acting strange. He tends to float in one area of the tank like he is dead, but then starts swimming again. Does this mean my black moor is going to die soon or is he...
On Monday the 27th I did my first water change, the two fish I own have parasite. I was just wondering if it's ok to do another water change this week, before Monday 3rd of February because the medication I'm going to give them requires 48 hours before a water change or should I do the water...
Nitrite and ammonia are 0. Ph level is 7.5. The tank is 21 litres and the temperature is 22.5. My black moor is getting enough food. They share about half the food. My black moor doesn't seem stressed out.
