    Because this thread was quite slow, I wanna ended up giving it a shot! But I added two boards under the tank as support. Doesn’t move, very sturdy. I wouldnt had done it without the support boards. It evens out the weight between the whole shelf rather than just where the tank sits. :)

    I recently got a 55 gallon with the lid and filter (and scored on gravel and live plants) for $10 on Craigslist. I currently own a 30 gallon and a 10 gallon that I put on my cubbie shelf.
