    HOB Filter that sticks out the least?

    I have an Aqueon 36 gallon bowfront tank that I just had to replace the top / hood for. I purchased a Versa-Top Hinged Glass Top to replace the old hood, but came up against a problem. The Aqueon Quiet Flow 30 Power Filter sticks out too far for the glass top to be able to sit all the way...
