All fish seem to be doing really well now. None have died or look stressed at all. I think I had too much Carbon with not enough light, everything was suffering. But now, it all appears balanced, and the pop eye fish is already doing better after one day.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I'm experiencing this very thing with my Harlequin Rasboras as well. I had 8 a week and a half ago, and have had 3 die since then. Much like the OP, they're not all at once, but spread out over a few days.
I've also checked my parameters and everything...

Sunday I did another 15% water change on the main tank. I needed to do some trimming on the spiralis plus wanted to keep some fresh water moving in there until everything seems fairly stable.
So far no more deaths of the rasboras and no apparent funny...
