I like both of those options thanks Garfy. I'm a little hesitant about adding yellow labs, aren't they fairly peaceful? Wondering if they could survive in my tank with some aggressive mates. Also does anyone know about keeping Tropheops "Red Cheek"? From the little I've read about them they...
Hey guys I have a 90 gallon tank with 7 Mbunas ranging from 2.5" to 4.5". I have had these fish together with no additions for several months now and all seems fine. I have a red zebra that is the boss and is huge at 4.5 inches. I have an Electric Blue Johanni, female and male Kenyi, Accei...
I have a slightly under stocked 90 gallon mbuna tank with an eheim 2217 canister. I use a power head to create more flow towards the intake. I have not had any issues with the filtration but I guess it depends if your tank is overstocked. What is your current stock??
I don't think putting in another red zebra would be a good idea as they would be prone to go after one another. I had two red zebras when I started out and the one eliminated the other. I think that a Johanni is a good idea I have one with my red zebra and he definitely holds his own. He also...

The 1st pic in your second set of pics is for sure a female kenyi. With the vertical stripes light and dark. I have one that looks just like it. Not too sure about the others
Thanks Russel, you pointed out some things I didn't think about. I think you're right Bill, a 55 gallon would fit much better. Also a rock wall is a great idea, that would look really cool! Your tanks look great btw. Now I just have to convince my parents!
Ha yeah i didn't mean pairs I guess breeding group is a better term. Well I would love to find a saulosi they look like beautiful fish. Hopefully I can track a group down, I've never seen em at my LFS before. The johanni could be another good option, I have a male about 4 inches just need...
