- I have a 27gal. planted tank with a large piece of drift wood as the main decoration. My plants include: Amazon sword plant, anubias coffeefolia, a red tiger lotus bulb, a moss ball, and bacopa caroliniana. Animals include: two nerite snails, one mystery snail, two assassin snails (to keep the pond snails in check), three amano shrimp, three green corydoras, and three male fancy guppies. As of 8/29 my tank has been set up and cycling for a little over a month with weekly 25% water changes beginning after the addition of fish. I am currently still in the process of stocking my tank with fish, but everyone seems to be happy and healthy right now.
