Actually, it is the 2nd time the platy is giving birth. She sits in one place and sometimes goes on her side and than swims for a bit. The fry that she gave birth to before are biting her too. I got my water tested 2 days ago in petsmart and everything tested in the safe range.

I have a platy that is trying to give birth. She either sits on the gravel or lies on it side ways. Will my platy give birth or will she die? Is there anything I can do to help her? :(

Welcome to the forums :) I also have goldfish but in a 55 gallon aquarium. Only thing I can tell you from experience is don't get the small plants or love once, not even a moss ball. They will take it out of the gravel and if it's alive, they will eat it.

Actually the goldfish are very happy there. I had them there for over 3 years now and they are doing well. Also, I took a some water to test in petsmart and the worker was amazed at the levels of everything; everything was normal! :brows:

Hi, After looking around the internet for a place to join for a few days now, I came across this forum so I decided to give it a try. I currently have 3 aquariums. 5 gallon has 1 betta and a mystery snail as well as a plant. 25 gallon has guppies, platies, cory, 3 otocinclus, mystery snails...
