I agree the tank is not cycled. I only ever had the one Molly, I'm not putting more in. My ammonia levels are no more than .5 ppm now and that's on a bad day. I throw prime in with every water change. So I'm going the right direction.

Thanks guys, it is not completely cycled, it was real close then fishies started dying, so I got a new filter and even though I stuck in some old media it probably started all over again.

She is back to normal!!! Thanks for everyone's help!!Tank is back to ~76 and she seems happy. I am having a clouding issue though, not sure what it is but water changes will eventually sort it out. Ammonia still in there. I think the new filter may have messed the cycle up.

Keeping hope alive, she is just sitting at the top of the water, she isn't eating much either, maybe the heat getting to her. But the spot is gone, so I'm thinking she will be ok.

You're right, I'm just impatient and the tank is boring with one fish now. I'll just hold temp around 86' for a few more days the. Gradually bring it down to ~77 or so and see how she does.

Looks like the spot is gone, and she seems to be coming out a little more, the tank ~85*, so I bumped it up a smidge, and will keep up with the water changes and salt... Maybe in a few more days she will be back to normal and I can bring a few more fish back in.

Found a top fin 50 watt filter for 10.00, and some API ich treatment. I'm a little nervous about the meds in the water. So I was thinking of getting the temp up to 86' and water changes with salt for a week or so and see if it clears up, if not then try the meds.. Any thoughts?

Got home and noticed a white patch on her abdomen (thinking ich now) the best regimen I am seeing is ich meds and raising temp gradually to 86'. Unfortunately my heater is not adjustable so I will have to get another one....
