- I was given a complete kit 15 ga column aquarium. It's dimensions are 13x13x24. While not a traditional setting for an aquascape, I'd like to attempt my first planted aquarium in it. Currently in the planning stages. Central focal point will be a large multi-branched driftwood positioned vertically to balance the height of the tank. The original stock hood came with a 8W T5 bulb. I have upgraded it to a 6500k and modified the hood to accomodate another 27W. I am interested in creating a lawn effect with HC and have ordered pressurized CO2 to deliver fertilization. I'll be setting it up with ADA Amazonia aquasoil substrate. At this point I'm researching the plants I would like to grow. I will have livestock, but in limited numbers due to the shape and size of the tank.
