well on a more depressing note. lost my lionfish for unknown reasons today. walked over to my tank and there he was getting picked apart clean by my hermit crabs. he was eating fine, nitrates where in the 30's and no signs of sickness. it feels really discouraging right now with that. my foxface...

bangaii cardinal's would be a nice choice. add a variety of colors and species.

thos mombassas are awesome looking. it was another one i wanted to get.

lol. im used to that already. the only thing in my tank that wont give me some nasty pain right now is my maroon clown and my snails/hermits

will do appreciate the advice :) now i just gotta find a LFS here that sells the nass and conch's....are all conch's ok and good for it or are there only select ones?

how many conch's would you suggest i get for a 55? i heard they eat rather quickly so maybe 2 or 3?

not buying the goby. i will wait a while. but i do want something to sift through my sand. any suggestions? i heard conches are good

my sand is far from empty. there is alot going on in there thats why i want the goby. when i had moved it from the guy i purchased it from i think i sturred up ALOT of bad stuff that had been dormant inside the water. so all of that algae is coming out. i have a good bunch of diatoms in there...

its not quite big enough yet for silver sides. ive been trying to feed him krill with garlic. i have a clear spoon with one of those twists that you get with bread with the paper taken off and wrapped around the stick but he wont go for it at all :/ little bugger. any suggestions on a sand...

ive been told that they will hide like that for a couple days to a week. so id like him be for a bit and let him come out when he wants. he will want to feed eventually and id make sure to keep food ready for him. maybe drop some in every few days to entice him out

well it was feeding day today as my lion wouldnt go for frozen yet i bought some ghost shrimp. only got 6 and found out the darn maroon fed all of them to the nem....so i had to go back out and get 2 dozen more and i saw the lion take a couple of them so at least i know he's eaten at least some...

put in? yes. kept in there? no. if you want something to stay in that tank a one spot foxface will work
