I agree - there is no "Reef Safe" methods. I can only share MY EXPERIENCES.
Who said to just throw meds at the fish? Come on, really? Not a newbie here guys. Lol.

My personal experiences: Metro+Focus - Garlic Enhancer, and if ich was a result of a...
Turn the UV off is using Prazipro , applying Metro directly to the tank, Herbal ich remedies. Running uv during treatment may neutralize the effectiveness of the meds. Running the Skimmer will remove the meds from your water. As for water changes, I go 25% weekly for 3 - 4 weeks.

Befor you go nuts and cause a tank crash, there are some better methods.

Man, that is awesome! I've always used Abtesia X but it's a drag tring to reach in the tank, move rocks, etc. on my 160 Gal.
Kinda reminds me of Superman using lasers from his eyes, lol.
Nice.
Metro + Focus in a food cocktail has worked form me. I have a 180 gal. And trying to quarantine all the fish isn't an option.
In a separate QT, I run a minimal amount of copper for new tank mates.
