Just making sure the overflows wouldn't drain to slow because of the length and end up having to dial my pump back.

Building a peninsula aquarium so either returns will run a longer distance or my overflows to my sump.

Is it better to run longer overflows or returns to the sump?

I was wondering would it be better to run the returns from the pump a longer distance or the return from the overflows a longer distance?

Anyone running this pump if so can you post some pics of how you plumbed it

No glass lids and a fan blows across the top of the tank the thing also is I ran all my parameters before adding gfo and all was good before hand.

Tank temp is 78 and nothing gets sprayed in that room for anything airborn

Ya I ran into a bucket I read somewhere that running gfo on established tank could cause a drastic drop in phosphates and shock the tank that was my concern.
