Looks to me like he scraped himself and it is a small touch of fungus. It does not require treatment; as the wound heals the fungus will go away; but i'd keep an eye on it. It can take 4 to 6 weeks to fully heal but it shouldn't spread.

I'd also raise the temp a few degrees for yoyo; and ensure you have fairly soft water - they don't do that well in hard water.
