    Peppermint Bristlenose Pleco white patches

Looks to me like he scraped himself and it is a small touch of fungus. It does not require treatment; as the wound heals the fungus will go away; but i'd keep an eye on it. It can take 4 to 6 weeks to fully heal but it shouldn't spread.

    New yoyo loaches keep dying

I'd also raise the temp a few degrees for yoyo; and ensure you have fairly soft water - they don't do that well in hard water.

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

I've been watching the Mrs. heard her kids around:

    Some stocking expertise?

Probably too much; esp if you have a pair (m/f) of uaru; they could pretty much own most of the tank. Also the chocolate if a male will get fairly large.

What showpiece fish should I get?

Depends what you want. I would not get a pair of bolivian rams as they can be moody and generally prefer to be solo (not pair). Some of the more passive apisto are fine if the tank is scaped correctly and has soft substrate however they will hunt shrimp. In fact most cichlids will hunt shrimp so...

    Bolivian rams biting each other

This is not unusual. Bolivian rams are not social fishes and best kept alone - esp in a smaller tank. The first one probably claimed the tank and now views the second one as an intruder. If not mature they will probably group up and one will assert an alpha role of the group. If they grow up...

    What kind of pleco?

There are 100's of pleco and even worse the exact pattern changes on them as they age. I'm not convince it is a common pleco. A few better pictures might help. Also if it is one of the wood eating pleco (such as tiger); it is imperative that you have wood in the aquarium. Malaysian wood is...

Guppies with tattered fins from cichlid juveniles?

cichlids is a genus; some species are more likely to nip at guppies than others; even as juvi.

What Did You do With Your Tank Today?

Pesonally I would remove her. The danger is she might decide she wants the male and er assassinate the other female. Generally speaking no good can happen with a pair + 1 female.

How much should a stand for 180 gallon cost?

Price of wood has double since the pandemic - i purchased mine just before the pandemic- well about 6 months before. ALso my tank was a bit smaller. I'd at least price glass cages and customaquariums options. I really don't know how much they are but maybe not too bad. Prices have gone up a...

opinions - regular cherry shrimp or fire red?

There is a trustful person selling some blood mary shrimps for $1.5 each (darn good price) on planted tank for sale forums. Basically he said he was moving and has 1000 to get rid of.... just a suggestion if you don't care on exact colour.

    Male or Female?

The problem is that there are no natural electric blue rams; they are line bred and the typical indicators are sometime bred out of the fishes (i.e, females are bred to look like males). - For gold and gbr color morph the pink belly is the solid indicator; for eb colour morph the pink belly is...

How much should a stand for 180 gallon cost?

If solid wood or metal it will be several hundred dollars - as much as $500. RJ enterprise has a series of solid wood stand - i like the ones without canopy (which i dislike); these are solid wood and not particle board. For custom stand glasscages and customaquariums - but even iwth the plain...

    Cichlid bullying

Remove some of them. Species might help as not all cichlids are the same. If it was a tank full of borelli apistogramma i'd expect no bullying. A tank full of green terrors well there is a reason they are called terrors. Generally as a fish mature their behavior changes so consider that aspect...
