If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
If you have nothing to add to the conversation: please don’t respond. I understand I need information to provide a clear insight on fish- but for this post I was just looking for a diagnoses on what the disease is so I can treat it.
Ammonia is 0, nitrite 0, nitrate is 20PPM. Like I said I just did a water change and vaccum gravel yesterday and it just exploded today. The fish seemed fine before this and nothing seemed wrong until today. He is in a 40 Gallon tank with no decorations. The water seems clean for the most...
Anyone know what this is?
As for background- I did a water change yesterday and my fish was totally healthy. All the Parameters are in check. This morning there was a tiny white blip on his head and now his entire face is covered in this white stuff. There is some type of stringy...
I ended up isolating him and treating him with anti-biotic- however he ended up dying and I returned him. The tank thankfully seems healthy and it doesn’t seem like anyone got the disease
I bought this gourami yesterday and he had a tiny gray spot on his back. Since yesterday- it has grown (see image). I treated with Microbe Lift Herbtana to boost his immune system. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks!
I just got a neon dwarf gourami. He hasn’t eaten in 2 weeks and it’s because he is so shy that he never comes to the surface. I would try sinking the food but my tetras gobble the food up so fast it’s impossible. Any advice? Thanks
It looks like your danio got cut on something and got some type of bacterial or fungal infection. I would isolate the fish and treat it with Triple Sulfa or some other general medication (anti bacterial)
I might just try a water change. Usually diseases at least have some symptoms- but my fish all died with no symptoms and even ate on the day they died. They all just died overnight with no explanation or way of me being able to use any specific medication.
Yes. My water parameters are all good. I thought the same thing- but my fish all died so instantly and suddenly after it’s introduction. My final molly died this morning, leaving the death total at 4. The weird part is- the one younger platy seems totally unaffected, and the tetras seem...
I’ve had these fish for years, and my 3 mollies just randomly died over the course of 2 days for no obvious reason. The weirdest part is- my youngest Platy is doing fine and my neons are doing fine as well, but my 4th molly who is exactly 1.5 years old is acting sickly. I did recently add an...
I have some limnophila indica that has been very healthy until the past month. Some of the plants look to be dying, and some almost look stripped. I am going to attach a photo.
As you can see, the one part looks stripped whole the rest looks normal. I have a 29g tank with 2 platies, 2...
I just got a new male pearl gourami, and my older female gourami aggressively chases him around the tank. I don’t know why she chases him- she just does. I read that these species got along with one another but it seems that isn’t correct. I have a 29 gallon with lots of plants, 6 platies...
There is a couple of things it could be. If it’s fuzzy, it would most likely be a fungal infection which is easily treatable with API fungal cure. Or, it could be Ich, which is a lot worse and you’d need to separate him immediately. Usually ich is peppered all over the body though. 3rd, it...
My fish was very sick and was laying on his side. I isolated him into a 5 gallon hospital tank (he is a molly). I medicated it with anti bacterial and anti fungal medications and he recovered very well. He was eating and swimming relatively normally. Then the next morning, he was just dead...
