    OK I will wait until the pond is complete. These two dozen will be the only fish, can I cut back to %25 weekly water changes?

    Yes I have a 10 gallon. I'm thinking three dozen might work and in one month only have a dozen reds to start on breeding..

    Thanks again for the advice guys, I'm experienced with tropical and sw species but have just developed an interest in natives and cold-water setups.. working on stock now and just need a little reassurance. :) Jay W

    Weekly water changers from %70-90 and two HOB filters, one for 60 gallons and the others intended for a 15g setup. Sound good? Jay Wright
