Torch Coral and proximity to polyps

Their stinging sweepers are not controlled. They just wave in the current. Its a method for the coral to lean the territory around it so that it can expand. Many times in our tanks, the flow makes the sweepers go the same direction consistently, so some coral can get very close and not be...

    Flat worms

I just want to chime in here, because I don't believe that they are toxic upon death as suggested on some sites. Purple reef lobster.

I have no experience or knowledge, sorry. I would say better safe than sorry. If you put him in your fuge, then you can determine later if he should go in the tank. It would be much harder to go the other way and get him out of the tank.

    evaporation...

Lower temperature air, has less a capacity to hold water. As such, as the temperature drops, the humidity of the air comes down. The lower the humidity, the more evaporation you will have from your tank. The more open water air, fans, lights, and water movement you have the more evaporation...

    Green star polyp

Agreed, Green Star Polyps (GSP) is a highly photosynthetic coral. Any additional nutrients it needs can be pulled from the water column without spot feeding. That coral can become somewhat of invasive, so don't put it on any rocks you don't want it to eventually cover in full.

    what school you like?

Be careful adding a school of fish to a tank that has run fishless for some time. There is a good possibility that there isn't enough nitrifying bacteria to accommodate a large bio-load. If you are going to add a school, you might have to add the fish in small groups or individually and let...
