Saw this article on reef builders and remembered alot of people buyin Chinese LEDs on eBay. This is the reason I avoid going cheap usually.

This is a weird update on this tank! I transferred all of my livestock back to my larger tank and transformed this tank into shrimp habitat!
I'm going to be going with CRS probably. So yes this is no longer a saltwater tank -_-. Admin please move me over to the freshwater section :)
And btw...
I've heard two different perspectives when it comes to feeding Euphyllia. This makes me wonder if I should feed or should not feed my hammer coral. What's your opinion?
I had my reef tank at 12 hours on with 15min of actinic before and after lights are on. But that led to algae problems, so I cut back to 11hours with 30 mins of actinic before and after lights come on.
Yea that is 100% a mantis shrimp. Almost looks like a Zebra mantis! Those fellas are actually pretty beautiful. You may find someone actuall willing to buy him or atleast take him.
Well my tank is only a 40g breeder so the tang is a no go unless I just borrow one for a little while. I worked in it today by pulling handful after handful out but I couldn't get all of it. :(
I was working in my tank today and I noticed my sea hare'a head sticking out of the sand slightly. He apparently buried himself in the sand? I pulled him up and put him on a peice of seaweed and he started eating then wandered off. Is this a bad sign or do they just search for food or sleep in...
