I just set up a freshwater shrimp tank.

After using the filter in question for a few weeks- I'll go back to the Aquaclear. Everytime I try something new, it just doesn't compare.

I have this same light setup over my 75 gal. planted tank. All 4 bulbs are 6700k with timers. One set stays on 12 hrs. The other set come only mid-day, gradual change in brightness . They work pretty well.

I had to shut down 5 tanks once. Now I'm back up to 5 again. Over time you can always find room for one more:)

$$$ is what keeps me from having salt at this time. Hopefully things will get better and I can do salt again.

I've tried the others- Prime is all I will use now. It's the best and it takes less of it so it goes a lot farther than other products.

I think it's more satisfying too.
