    Algae problem....pls help!

Maybe make up a small amount to raise you ph.. And the slow drip in to keep it there? I dosing pump may work for you.. But the generally are to slow from what I have read

    Algae problem....pls help!

All I did was mix up a gallon jug and drip it in daily. It kept mine at 8.4 consistently .. I did 3 tsp of pickling lime to 1 gallon ro. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then drip in.. Make sure the hose is about one inch above the bottom so it don't suck up the sludge

    Algae problem....pls help!

Make sure to get ph up to 8.4 8.5 and hold it there. That's a big key to getting rid of dynos

Water change when dynos are gone. Emerald crabs love bubble algae too.. How's your ph been?

    Overflow box questions

What about the new eshopps? I have one I'm about to start up. It looks like the tube will remain in water if a power out happens. If mine were to fail. I'll have almost 100 gallons on my floor.......

    Algae problem....pls help!

Keep the fluvel running. Fish need some oxygen. Haha. Instead of the turkey baster. Just use the hose as you siphon the dynos out. That was your containing the dynos better and not scattering all over the tank

    Algae problem....pls help!

Yes turn on your lights. And the dynos like oxygen. When I shut my skimmer off they slowed down there growth greatly. I kept the filter running. But did not dose anything or run carbon..

    Algae problem....pls help!

No need to blackout. And just shut skimmer off completely. No water changes. Keep ph at 8.4-8.5. And filter out the dynos putting the water back in.. Tape or wrap a towel over the bucket . Suck it out and put the water back in. That's how I did it and the dynos never returned

    Algae problem....pls help!

Stop water changes and maintain that ph to 8.4 8.5.... Suck out the dynos thru a towel.. And put that water right back in.. Shut off skimmer and leave your lights on there normal cycle
