    cories getting bitten?

Brookster! You saved my life and my fishs lives! The nitrates were 10/20 ppm. Will check ammonia and nitrites. It is probably not possible for them to make a full recovery right?

    cories getting bitten?

Should not be terribly dirty. Its new sand, just changed substrates. But i noticed a lot of waste floating around where they normally go--in the last week and a half. I just vacuumed that up before.

I change the water every week. 25 percent or more. Is that enough? And ive never had water quality problems,at least i think, i never shake the bottles.

Api master test kit. Actually, the upper level fish don't have any signs of it. Theyre lampeyed tetras and madagascar rainbowfish.

    cories getting bitten?

The water parameters are fine. Their barbells are fully intact. Im going to just vacuum the gravel, a place looks kind of dirt. Also there are algae problems, i dont know if that could be the cause. Ill take some pics.

I have five corys, two peppered and 3 emeralds. They all show it and it's more serious on the peppered ones. Thanks for the help.

    cories getting bitten?

The top and the bottom are red. I think it's unlikely that its caused by biting, but I don't want to rule it out. Here are some pictures, I couldn't capture the redness very well, it's like a brighter, pinker color. As you can see, it's somewhere on the head. I don't think this is normal...
