    Okay well i did put plenty of hiding spaces like soft substrate, pvc pipe, cork wood, etc. im feeding him brine shimp and blood worms. so it sounds like im doing the right thing. i guess i just need to wait for him to come out of his shell like you said. thank you for your help!

    Does anyone know how i can get my peacock eel to hand feed? He is pretty shy. I've tried with him before and he doesnt do anything. I am currently feeding him with a turkey baster.     Yes i have i was planning on eventually switching to brackish because i did the research after i got him. But im not sure if all of my fish would be okay with that.

    sick gourami?

    Ive had my dwarf gourami for about 4 months now. He seemed very happy up until a couple days ago, i noticed a small black spot on the side of him and now he is always hiding. Before he was always out and swimming around. Is this something is should be worried about?
