My Tanks
54 gallon bow front corner aquarium. (38x27x22) Fluval 306 external filter. Aquatic Life HO Roseate & 6K dual lamp, runs approx 12 hours on timer. Ista .82 liter pressurized CO2 system. 12" air stone (on 24/7) under lava rock and driftwood. Seachem Onyx Sand substrate. Use Fritz-Zyme nitrifying bacteria (will be changing to Seachem Stability), and Seachem neutral regulator & Prime during water changes. Normally a 50/50 blend of distilled/tap water is used during H2O changes. Media inserts include: Fluval BioFoam, foam filter blocks (4), Fluval ClearMax, and ammonia remover (occasionally used), ChemiPure Elite, Seachem Purigen, Fluval BioMax bio rings, & water polishing pads.
Fish in tank are: Salt and Pepper Cories (2), Harlequin Rasboras (2), Bleeding Heart (2), Cardinal (2), Neon (3), X-ray (4) & Glow light (3) Tetras. Lyretail (8) and Gold Dust (6) Mollies, Sunset Platy (1), Ghost shrimp (3-4) and Assassin Snails (4). Total fish population around 33. Plant population around 7 differ
