I would agree, sometimes it just happens. Do they have a warranty? You may be able to at least get some replacements. Don't get discouraged. This doesn't sound likes its your fault.

How long have you had the fish? In my experience guppy seem to be one of the fish where high yields have given way to weaker fish overall. So if it was a newer fish it may have already been weak or sick. I'm no expert but it seems to me that this problem is unfortunately common.

I'm thinking of setting up a 10 gallon nano reef but have almost no knowledge of what is required for a reef tank...is 10 gallon even big enough? What materials would I need to get started and maybe some stocking ideas. I've kept freshwater fish for some time and have an established 55 gallon...

I'm looking a buying some new hoods for my 55 gallon tank and have a question about the sizes, are the advertised sizes the actual size or are the shorter then that? My openings are just under 23 1/2 inches so would a 24 inch hood fit or will it actually measure to 24 inches? Thanks for any help.
