I'm so happy to be able to say that my Dempsey is looking SO much better! But it makes me even happier to be able to say that I don't think that his eye is going to be a total loss after all! Woohoo!

Looking much better. Still not 100%, but a vast improvement! Excuse the floating food pieces! I had just fed them.

@Rivers2k: He seems to be doing better. But I'm pretty sure he's now blind in that eye. It is no longer bright white like it was. It has more or less, for lack of a better phrase, smoothed out. But he's eating and swimming around. With guidance from the albino that is in the tank with him. It's...

Update: I just realized that my lace catfish has a broken and exposed spine on one fin. I'm thinking that he and the Dempsey might have run into eachother. Which would explain what I am seeing sticking out of the Dempsey's eye. Is there anyway to remove it and can I still use the jungle tabs to...

It is a 75 gallon. I just did a 50% water change on Sunday night and the Dempsey was fine then. Last night is when this showed up. There is also an albino oscar and a lace catfish in the tank with him. They are both healthy. I retested my water and the tests are all coming back good.

My Oscars were laying and fertilizing eggs yesterday and before I could get my pleco out, he ate the eggs. I was just wondering how often my Oscars might spawn? They are in a 75 gallon tank. By themselves for now. Although they usually have a pleco with them.

This is the first time I've had Oscars. But I'm glad I got them! They are really fun fish and have awesome personalities. Plus, against all odds, I some how managed to get a breeding pair! I just picked two random ones (a tiger and an albino tiger) and they instantly hit it off. Next thing I...
