Looks like small heads of frogspawn to me still. The skeletal ridges in the polyp definitely looks like LPS.

Its not an emerald as the claws are totally different. Regardless if you have a sump then the crab has a home, toss it down there.

That would be aiptasia, pest anemone that if left alive will rapidly spread.

I would say either a leather or a sponge then. Given the shape I'm more inclined to say leather, finger leather specifically.

If it's hard it could be a monti cap, could be a leather if it's soft.

Tube anemones look totally different, it is definitely a corynactus anemone google it.

It is most definitely a duncan. Trumpet coral aka candy cane has a plain non tissue skeleton where as duncan has tissue covering its skeleton typically being green in color.

Why not get a transparent mesh screen lid and open up the world of possibilities?

You want to change it once it becomes clogged and water spills out the top. I personally do mine once a week as I work out of town but every 4-5 days should be about right.

Hate to burst your bubble but that's not a duncan. It's actually a torch coral, you can tell by the skeleton. Duncan's have a flesh covered skeleton most other LPS do not.
