I honestly don't know I just know we want corals and an anemone later on down the road. However I'm a little upset my LFS said nothing about RODI when they do have it for sale... If it was necessary I feel they would have told me to buy it. I used $30 of bright well salt and that's all wasted now?

Well it already has tap water with salt in it. The salt was pre mixed. My LFS said nothing about ro/di being important for the reef we are planning. Here are photos of the marks on the walls. I cleaned them with a Brillo pad.

Today I set up a 55 gallon saltwater. This is my first saltwater tank, and there are white streaks along the glass on all four sides on the inside of the tank, what are these and how to get rid of? Also there is a build up for what looks like salt around the top perimeter, what to do for this...

This is my betta after 1 week of super ick cure. Not helping, simply getting worse. Have removed all the gravel, 50% change of water every other day before medicating, salt added, temp at 90, what else can I do? I'm stumped and sad for this guy.

I had a betta and a pleco contract ICK. Been treating for a week every other day with Super ICK Cure. Doing 50% water changes and adding salt. Temp is at 88. More and more ICK spots are appearing on betta, pleco has died, betta hasn't eaten in a week... what else can I do?

I have black sand in my aquarium and I have ich in it, I raised the temp to 86 but everything I'm reading says vacuum the substrate. I am new to sand and ich and everytime I touch the and it stirs all around and clouds the water etc. creating a mess, is this just how it is? Any other tips on...

Never had ich before. JUST got my tank filtered and the pleco I added has ich. UGH! what do I do? Should I put him in my quarantine tank? How do I remove the disease from my new tank? How long until I can add new fish?

I have the saltwater kit and was wondering if it will accurately read my freshwater tank. Here are my readings today, the tank is cycling would these be accurate? According to these, should I do a large water change? Thanks for any advice.
