    Gate valve leaking

Thanks for that advice, I believe most likely it is counter clockwise for the removal but I'll be careful. Might be wise to go ahead and purchase some pvc and ball valve just in case something goes wrong or broke haha, better safe than sorry.

    Gate valve leaking

I was thinking that myself too but wasn't sure if it was possible to unscrew and I didn't have any available pvc left if I were to break the valve and have no way to redo my plumbing haha but thanks 54seaweed for that advice I will for sure to do it tomorrow after work and hope for the best

    Gate valve leaking

I can turn off the return pump temporarily as if I'm doing a water change but I have yet to find information on how to get into the O ring. Looks like I have to bite the bullet and redo my whole plumbing. I'm a fan of gate valve but a lot of people have been mentioning ball valve and may have to...

    Gate valve leaking

Good afternoons all, I'm hoping someone can help me with my leaking gate valve, if it is closed about 60-70% it doesn't leak but if it's opened to about halfway it will start to drip. I was able to remove the screw and the handle but how do you remove the inner piece so I can check and maybe...

    Leaking gate valve

That sounds like a frustrating issue and I was in your shoes when I convinced my friend to switch to saltwater hobby. His stand does not sit flush either and no matter what we tried it never became a permanent fix so I advised my friend to build a stand ourselves and we carefully measured...

    Leaking gate valve

But I did changed the 29 gallon sump and modified the 40 gallon breeder tank...it was 5 inches too wide to fit so I broke down the tank cut 5 inches and resealed the tank :) happiest and successful diy I performed so far. It's Been over 6 months now and no leak to the newly modified sump

    Leaking gate valve

Offended_fish - I agree that goldguru explained it perfectly. When I purchased this tank and stand the plumbing was already built and I was fairly new to the saltwater hobby so I just left it the way the previous owner did since he had years of experience and his upgraded tank was phenomenal. I...

    Jebaos

No problems with it, but I do a monthly cleaning or every bi-monthly. I am happy with it and wouldn't hesitate to order again if needed

    Jebaos

+1 on what goldguru stated. I personally purchased two jebao powerhead at different times, the first powerhead says rw on the box but my second one says pp on the box. Nonetheless, both pumps are working fine and I can't be more happy with the price of these pumps

    Leaking gate valve

Thanks coral bandit, the screw on the handle is tight but I hope it's a seal or o ring that can be replaced instead of replacing the whole gate valve
