I plan on purchasing a 46 gallon bow front tank. I would like to keep 2 fancy goldfish in it. I am aware of the frequent water changes that will be needed since they produce so much ammonia. Would this be an adequate tank size as they grow to full size? Any advice would be appreciated!

What your describing(hiding) could be the early signs of an illness. I had angel fish who had similar behavior and ended up having wasting disease. My fish became disinterested in food and lost weight. Does your goldfish have any white or stringy poop? Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

Yes I feed frozen blood worms, brine shrimp occasionally, a frozen carnivore mix with beef heart and cobalt flake food that has probiotics. I'm thinking it must he a parasite that is working it's way around the tank.
