So one of my ten gallon tanks has a major algae problem. I currently have three otto cats in it, have been dosing with algae remover, cut it down to half light and scrubbing like there's no tomorrow. All to no avail. Any suggestions tips or tricks on how to stop the green menace?

Well. Boiled it. Currently looking for a bucket to soak it in. How long does that take on average?

Just an update and a question. Here's the update. Moved some plants between the tanks and added a few decorations. And now my problem and question. How do you make dw sink or what's the easiest way to keep it from rising?

My only concern is it might not be hard wood. :/ does that matter?
