Hi guys, does anyone know what these full hot pinks are called? They're much brighter than any other zoa or coral I've ever seen. They're from Cairns, Australia
I had 3 but 1 was slightly smaller than the other 2, he got hassled to death. Try to find similar sized fish. The remaining 2 still have this problem but I added more love rock and hiding places and they seem fine now. However this is in a 40 gallon which initially had very little live rock.
I have a sand sifting starfish, I put in about 6 months ago and then didn't see for 2+ months and now he comes out for a day or two every month or so, usually at night (I see him early in the morning before he scuttles away)

I have a FOWLR tank and was wondering if this...
There's mods available online that show you how to increase the cup height especially when upgrading the pump. If you have that issue and can't find the link I can post it. AquaC also sell a larger cup size too. After lots of research I've gone with the aquaclear70 pump. This produces 50gph more...
Yeah I wouldn't think it could be the prime either but I've read a lot of other posts online saying its what happens especially in a small tank. Although they don't die of the chemical but the reaction the water has to it. As its only a small tank and I was doing regular water changes I've added...
I think I found the problem and sadly it's my fault. I had added more than the recommended dosage of prime. As my tank is only 20 gallons, even just the bottom of the cap would be too much for a water change, this in turn had depleted the oxygen. I feel terrible.
I've just completed a large 60%...
