Just had a question on Mag pumps. The term Mag is used as a pump system? MAG DRIVE Or is it a name brand pump. If it is a type of drive system which manufacturer is know for top quality pumps ?

Hey everyone, Just upgrated to a nice wet dry filter. Everything is working fine so far. The only problem is that i still get micro bubbles coming out of the return. Hmmm can someone tell me what the problem can be? Is my pump to powerfull for the tank? I have no clue.

liquid, the fish seem fine. My 13" arowana did die 2 weeks ago.

Nop, Those are the readings I get. The wierd part is that i never had a positive reading for Nitrate

Just did a water test before a pwc. Please let me know what you think Ammonia 0ppm PH 6.7 Nitrate 0ppm Nitrite .5ppm is it normal? The tank is established for about a year. Thanks and i appriciate the input.

Sorry guys i mistakenly posted in the wrong section, I have a freshwater aquarium, when i used the term chemicals i was referring to stress coat, tap water conditioner and meds in case my fish get sick.

I have a reading of .25 ammonia, just wanted to know if this is enough to stress the fish? Temp 81 PH 7.2 Ammonia .25 The fish seem to be stressed out, I have green severums and they are constantly 1 color, almost gold. My friend has a tank with severums as well and they always change...

Congrats, i know the feeling when something goes wrong, just lost 10 fish 3 days ago. hehe

Do not add buffers hehe, i just had 10 fish die due to adding buffers, One thing that seems to work is taking a small filter bag and putting about a cup of crushed coral into you filter, If you wait another day i will let you know exactly how it works out for me, my PH was at 6.2 2 days ago...

ok so i got about an hour ago and the temp is at 82 with the heaters off the PH looks to be dropping, when i walked it was at 7.3 and now its at 7.24 i hope it doesn't drop much lower then it is. From all your experiences, when adding coral to the filter do you achieve a steady PH reading or...
