    haha, its funny that you say that. I took the gravel out and gave the tank a good overall cleaning, no gravel no algea. Filter maybe In the process of changing it over. But the 120g i treat it the exact same and it has sand/gravel in it also. Fairly high but not as high as the 20g Let you know...

    If the fish is already 2-3 years old and you brought him home from the fish store like that, I wouldn't be concerned and If it hasn't bothered you before, then i don't see why it bothers you now, to the point you want to trade him in now.     its a twenty gallon, The ph is around 6.8. I don't know what the conductivity is or what you mean? I try to do water changes every 2-3 days, 5-10 gallons I follow what i read and it says not to change water while there are eggs in there. And the parents keep laying eggs. So its hard to follow...

    i am hoping that some the babies will be orange with dad's markings, its just intense his color and lines. I think the babies would be awesome if they did I think its a percentage will be like mom , some like dad, then some mixed with both not sure. I'm not sure on the ratio's on doing...

    mom is a melbro red and dad is a Royal Blue. You cant sex them until they breed. Usually as a rule, cause anything before then is just guessing.

    It took a while, and some patients added with the babies wondering what i am and the parents wanting food. They are constantly coming to the front of the glass when i come around to visit. Its cute.
