I was planning on one Java Fern, 2-3 Java Moss, and 1-2 Moss Balls. What other plants would you recommend? And yes, I know what cycling is.:)

Thanks for all the tips. I think this will be my final list: 1. 4 male Endlers 2. 5 Amano Shrimp 3. Java Moss 4. Java Fern 5. Moss Balls I will feed flakes and pellets. Does this sound good? I would also consider 6 Neons if this would work better than the Endlers.

So I could only get 2 if I didn't supplement? Can you explain supplementing? I have had shrimp in the past, but gave up on them because they kept dying. It was probably because I wasn't supplementing, whatever that is.?

Oh, ok. One last question: what is a good amount of shrimp to keep if I don't want more than 15 in the long run?

Where do you get your Java Fern/Moss? Petsmart and Live Aquaria are my go to fish suppliers, and I can only find Java Fern...

Ok, I am going to try the Endlers. How many RCS should I put in? I was thinking 10. I was also wondering what live plants would be beneficial to the tank? I know for sure I am getting a moss ball or two.

Ok, I have ruled out the Celestial Pearl Danios and Scarlet Gem Badis. Any thoughts on the Endlers and Embers?
