Petco has them sometimes. But I wouldn't recomend buying from them. They're usually really over priced. We have the tropical fosh store, and then a City Zoo. I get most of mine at City zoo. There's also an online website that sells them for about 5 $ and have arrive live guarentee

My moms bf had his tested at the fish store I plan on going to and they helped him a lot. I'll check out kits online. For now the lfs will have to do :/

And I had a green spotted puffer just as long as I had the 2 year figure 8 (which I still have) I recently gave it away because it became too aggressive. But it was beautiful. Happy, all around bright bright green. Did wonderful in the tank.

You can usually tell if a puffer is sick by the fading of their color. When they're nervous or sick they're colors will dull. Both fish that died today have had bright colors, eating perfectly fine, no marks or anything unusual, swimming around content. I guess I find it odd that both of the...
