Yes they are exactly! I couldn't really find a link my mom got it from Walmart. I can post a pic of the box when I first got it. It's brand new I got it for Christmas.

That sounds about how he acted in the 20 gallon. I know when he settled in he found him and spot and never came out of it hardly. So I guess he just hasn't found that spot yet. That makes me feel a little better. He is about 3 to 3.5 inches I believe. I figured he would love having more room.

I just recently moved my Pictish catfish from a 20 gallon to my 55 gallon and he has kinda picked out his spot but he has constantly swam up against the glass since he's been put in there. I don't know if this is normal or not. He will kinda stop to eat but for the most part of the day he is up...

I tried to take some pictures to show you better. They done sit on the hood they sit under the hood. I took a picture what the good looks like on it. Then took it off and in the front of the tank is where the lights sit underneath the hood. I tried to get a picture of it but still kinda hard to see.

So I just got my 55 gallon started and I went to go top the water off but the LED lights build in the inside and Im not sure if water can touch those or not wondering if anyone knows whether they can or not. I attached a picture before I topped it off yesterday. Now the water line is just right...

I've had this tank since Christmas and been needing to move my fish from my 20g to my 55g and I've finally done it. Not exactly how I had planned but it will work for now. :))

I only say a trash can because i would figure using a 5 gallon would a bit of a pain in the butt. But now thinking about it, it prolly would be so bad to use for mixing. Also with the skimmer how many gallons do I wanna go for? Could I do one that does 65 gallons or would I wanna go bigger then...

Yup yup I understand water changes. I've never messed with skimmers or power heads. So I will go look into those right now and get back with any questions I might have. Thank you! And I also thank everybody for their patience. Just wanna make sure I get off on the right foot with this tank...

And when you say maintenance on the filter you are meaning just cleaning it once a month like I do with my freshwater filters? Water changes I am confident about just have to learn how to mix up my saltwater.
