Ok, I started from the middle an have tried 3 different spots finding one that the frag liked in terms of the frag opening...so I kind of did a light acclimatization for the first 3 days finishing on the higher place on the LR. The purple thing definitely blows of the LR with water movement...

Just got this frag of Polyp as my 1st coral but never got it's kind. Please someone ID this for me and would appreciate any tips for it's care. The photo quality doesn't makes justice but believe me it's looking awesome and it's doing well since I got it 5 days ago.

After the last 50% WC nitrates lowered to 0... I even added a polyp frag!

Lowered nitrates to 0 and just added a frag of star polyp... It's doing well all opened up and with brilliant colors...

Great! Los like a go ahead for me since you have a similar tank to mine and yours is doing good! Obviously I would have to lower those 20ppm but my concerns was the bioload since I already have 2 clowns a peppermint shrimp and some Nassarius snails.

What are your water parameters? I also have a 10 g FOWLR and I'm thinking of converting to a reef but I'm having problems with nitrates... I have managed to lower them to 20 ppm but everyone is telling me that the pair of clowns that I have are to much bioload for a 10 g...

Update I just saw how the hermit eats the algae from the LR leaving those white spots as no algae was let behind...

How is it going with the Biodigest?

Just did another 50% WC and Nitrates dropped to 20 ppm...the only things that I did differently is that I brought a powerhead and blew away from the LR all the debris and that I used Live Water that I brought from the store instead of mixing it myself...
