How much LR does he have? I usually wait a month between new additions but if you don't have alot LR you might need to wait longer or he past his Max Bio load.

    Peppermint shrimp molting

You do get iodine from salt but I've heard that it gets used up very quickly.

    Peppermint shrimp molting

Its possible something could have happened to him, my shrimp usually takes a few hours yo do it. You may have a lack if iodide in your tank, I put an iodide supplement in my tank, Shrimp need iodide to grow their exoskeleton.

I don't think so but it does make me wonder too. I would slow the aeration if I were you.

    koralia magnum

If it ran dry your going to need a new motor most likely. I don't think you can buy one of those so your going to have to buy a new pump.

Metal Halide is out of date nowadays, Usually the way to go if you can afford Metal Halide is LED. Plus LED will save your electric bill.

    dwarf angels

I've also heard that dwarf angels pick on soft corals though I've also heard that some are better then others, couldn't give you a name. The minimum size for the bicolor angel and probably most others is 30 gals. 5 is gals is not allot so you could probably get away with it.

Reef Saver Rock: Cycling & Aquascaping

I like to create several caves with it, large caves. My tang loves swimming in and around those, he will find the smallest place possible to fit himself through. The reef rock is probably already been cured and it would be a good idea to rinse them good before you put it in your tank, if you...

Reef Saver Rock: Cycling & Aquascaping

You don't need to cure reef rock. You could probably epoxy them if you were very careful of places for fish to get stuck, though that doesn't happen often I would assume.

    Vodka To Remove Nitrate

IMO there is a need to have best water for your fish. Bioload makes a difference to how much vodka you end up putting in, that one fish huma-huma used as an example is only going to produce a small amount of nitrates so you will only need a small amount of vodka.

    Vodka To Remove Nitrate

I would rather have a pellet reactor too but vodka is cheaper.
