The water parameters normally are fine. We were just away for a week so maybe there was an issue with the feeding. I changed out the water when I got back Saturday, noticed the fish not doing well Monday. Maybe something had set in already
Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely be doing extra water changes, lower temps a bit. Everybody else looks healthy at the moment. If I do notice more infection, is the Furan -2 safe for plants?

Thanks for reply. His tail fin had been nipped by another fish, maybe that's what's driving it. Chemistry is good in tank. I'll try some antibiotics and cross fingers, but not too optimistic.

One of my angelfish has suddenly developed some sort of rot or something. It's still alive but barely. I have it in s quarantine tank. What is this disease and is there treatment?

Thanks for the responses. The lip has gotten better., so I think it was just an injury. Maybe she hurt it eating all the ghost shrimp. That was an expensive meal.
It's on the bottom lip there. What do you do if it's cotton mouth? How will I know? It hasn't spread yet.
Could be an injury too. Don't really know what that is.
cheers

Yesterday I noticed what might be a fuzzy thing on one of the angelfish's mouth. I have two in a 55g, and occasionally they lip lock and wrestle. I don't know if this is an injury or something more serious.
Thanks for help
Oops, I meant MC Hammer. Pork has the pants but it's not slowing him down any. I think I had the tank too warm,. What temp is yours? Hope your frog starts feeling better.
I'm starting to think that maybe the tank was too warm.
Yesterday I took Pork out of the 20g and put him in the 29g, which at 68 degrees is about 10 degrees colder than the 20g. After awhile, he was singing quite a bit and both frogs began actively swimming around. My wife said they missed...
He's definitely bloated, whole body now looks a bit squishy. I've got a couple days to deal with this before my business trip. This blizzard is not helping.
So I put him in a quarantine tank. Is that necessary? Is it contagious? He's singing all the time now and his lady friend in the...
Howdy. I have two ACFs in a 20g long, sand substrate, couple amazon swords. I think the male is developing bloat, as he's a bit bloated. His skin sort of ripples when he moves.
Right now he's acting normally, eating well. The female looks fine.
How do I treat this? I've started doing 50%...
