I've just spotted something in my tank, I've had my tank for about 5 months but I've never seen It before and it is the fastest thing I've seen in a reef tank so j cant get a picture, it almost looks like a squid but has a spiral back end instead of tentacles and love the light. Any I ideas???????

ccCapt has just identified mine, he's good he is. they are red macroalgae, probably a rhodophyta.sp.

What's this slug thing and could it be a problem, although it has been in my tank since I started it two months ago.

Can anyone identify this coral. I'm new to reef keeping and and my live rock is sprouting corals and I'm unsure what this one is.
