NO! It's not a dumb idea! I think you should do it! If I was on Facebook more pften I would do the same thing! You could always make a group too. That would be excellent!

I do have a HOB filter. No problems, but when I stir the sand I turn the filter off until the sand settles, then switch it back on. Sometimes it primes itself, other times it needs a little help getting started again. Doesn't bug me though.

Do you only have 1? If you have the room in your tank to allow at least 4 more, you will see them a lot! They are not schoolers but do cluster together when they rest and they also chase eachother around the tank. Every evening mine (I have 5) race across the length of the tank and up and down...

Yes, that is exactly why Mbuna tanks are most often stocked quite full...to prevent aggression. LOL! I bet it's so cute though! Those little guys in such a big tank LOL! They certainly will fill it out though once fully grown ;) It's amazing just how fast fish grow!
