I also ended up getting some bubble algae. Its one the back of a 40 lb rock, I can not get to it by hand or move the rock. With out a half tear down. I was thinking about an emerald. Does he pose a threat to any thing else?
Sorry to interrupt this thread.
Alive was my first intent. Things don't always work out how we plan though. It was luck that on that day he chose the smallest rock in the tank, the one he was normally in was 40lb. I felt bad for him, but I would have felt worse about giving him a 72gal live buffet.

I watched mine for two weeks. Then I threw his rock in a container of soda water. After he killed two fish.
Every thing I read said that he would come flying out of his hole, but mine did not. I waited and waited, then waited, ended up pretty much killing the rock. His body remained in...

I have had this colt for just around two months now and it has increased in size buy 25% to 30%. I takes up the almost the entire corner of the tank.
Just wanted to share a picture how my first Coral is doing.
I have spent all day on WWM, I still am having trouble finding it.
I am sure it is right in front of me. I am going to continue reading tomorrow, cant go on.
Macro makes since. I posted a new picture in the first post. The texture reminds me of pipe cleaner.
The snails don't bother it, I have caught a crab or two on top of it, either picking at it or just on it.
Oh yes I forgot, these pictures are taken I guess from the botton back. If I could...
This came on a rock, I bought about two months ago. It was in my nano. Did not see it until after I had it in the tank. About three weeks ago I moved it to my new main tank. It has better lights.
Anyways now in the main tank, the cyno is gone. It is fuller, and now I have seven new ones...
