Does anyone know what it might be?
My BF got me my first tank for xmas. It was second hand and still had gravel inside, also came with a few nice bits of bogwood. I'm still in the process of setting this tank up. Turns out he found this tiny plant in the tank. He had expected I might have it...
Well I've got my bottle of Kleen Off but I've decided to just hold out till my soil comes and cycle in the tank. Also I've decided to upgrade my filter media to some Biohome Ultimate. Of which comes with some free filter starter balls but with what's said here I'm not sure I'll use them.
I always look horrible in photos. But then maybe that's just how I look and in the moment, whenever it arrises while looking into my reflection I morph myself into something more appeasing.
So is the bacteria in a bottle a no go due to being a potential waste of money? like if it was free would it be worth trying or are there hidden risks in using it in attempt to get a stable culture going?
So I've been to B&Q and seems they no longer stock ammonia :s So on the way back I pass an aquatics store so popped in to see if they had anything for a fishless cycle. He offered some bacteria, I asked "but what will they eat". Turns out they've not heard of fishless cycling.
Yays thank you...
