Yup, real plants, except for the one at the tipity top that looks like its floating, that one is fake and on the back of the tank with suction cups. The one on the driftwood is real, and the ones in the substrate are real. I got more plants since these pic were taken, I need more recent pics.

I actually just recently saw a 45gal, hood, light, stand, filter, new gravel, decorations, gravel vac, master test strips, water conditioner, food, basically everything, for $65 at a tag sale. I was like WOAH! But, the tank was a hex, but kinda long, but not flat back, and I didn't like it so...

Woo, I'm so glad, dwarf gouramis are so pretty. :D So other tetras and livebearers would be good with them too? Just want to make sure my fishies would be happy.

Its planted, but they are plants from my 10 gal, so they are small for my new tank. I plan on getting some larger plants.

Mini crabs are not totally aquatic... they need access to land too.

They only sell males at the store near me, so would that be a problem, or would they be man buds? The only ones in my tank that really have a spot that is "theirs" is the ADF, he hides under the driftwood all the way to the left, and the baby guppies, they like one particular plant. Everybody...

Yea, I was wondering about mollies and platies, but I've heard that mollies like to eat up the plants :o I was wondering how many dwarfs I could get, some say only one, others say depend on tank size, and decorations, never saying what size or how much decorations is enough.

I have read that guppies and bettas can be mixed if given enough room, and enough plants. I was wondering if anyone had experience mixing them? Would a tank around 29 gal be enough room? Or is this just a bad idea? Or I could add a dwarf gourami instead... I also heard of people adding both...

I have an african dwarf frog in my guppy tank. He hides under the driftwood most of the time. He doesn't bother my fish... but my guppies tried to eat his toes at first... I don't know if you could put one of them in that size tank... But if it turns out you can have one, be completely sure...
