    Possible Scratch - or crack?

Hello everyone ... I noticed today what is either a possible scratch or crack in my red sea 130d. I was doing a water change/algae cleaning and noticed a spot where a short, (maybe half inch) line of algae was growing. Upon further inspection I noticed there was a recess signaling a scratch in...

Well the built in filter is all in how you use it. Foam, ceramic rings, carbon bags. All this is very basic filtration. Feeding over weekends and Storing SW

I second Austinsdad's suggestion. While they do need occasional calibrating refractometers are an invaluable tool.

    Aqua Lifter

I wouldn't suggest an aqua lifter for this application, you may need something stronger. The best thing I have seen them used for is siphoning air out of CPR HOB Overflows.

Feeding over weekends and Storing SW

I think your fish will be fine over the 3 day period. I used to take multiple trips per year for extended amounts of days and never fed my fish while away and it worked out just fine. Automatic feeders are hit or miss. The cheap ones will cause you more harm then good. Make sure to get a unit...
